Nick Donates $2 Million Diamond Shoes to St. Marys Kids

The most expensive shoes in the world are soon to have a new owner. Nick wore the $2 million diamond-encrusted Tom Ford loafers on the America's Got Talent finale back in September and has chosen to donate them to the board executives at St. Mary's Hospital for Children in Queens, NY. He had the pricey pair specially made by designer Jason Arashenen, with each shoe boasting more than 14,000 full-cut diamonds set in white gold, with a weight of 340 carats. The shoes are expected to be auctioned off at a later date. Cannon has been working on fundraisers with medical centre bosses for some time and he insists he is happy to help out where he can. He says, "I'm on the board for St. Mary's so we're gonna do it for the children in those hospitals and save some hospitals." He adds, "(I want) to keep this children's hospital going. It's one of the oldest children's hospitals in New York. You go in there and it puts everything in a proper perspective. You see all that they're going through and that they can still have a smile on their face. I get so much out of it."
