Last night (November 4), EBONY magazine celebrated it's annual Power 100 list with a star-studded shindig in New York City. The gala lauded some of the most influential African-Americans in the country with a Motown-themed evening—a nod to Motown founder Berry Gordy, recipient of EBONY’s 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award.
Get Schooled and Teen Nick have joined together to recognize the most inspiring student ambassadors. They are giving away a trip for two to Los Angeles to the star-studded Halo Awards hosted by Mr. Chairman himself, Nick. In addition to a trip to L.A., Get Schooled is going to hook up the winner(s) with a tour of Tinseltown’s greatest colleges and universities to see what California college life is really like.
